The Powwow is held on the Joe Robbie Powwow Garden on the Buffalo Bill Historical Center Grounds.  

This family event is a colorful dance contest among Plains Indian tribal members.

EVENT: 13 th Annual Wild West Balloon Fest BALLOON Glow, Dust, Mentock Park Cody WY

THIS EVENT RUNS August 1st to 3rd, 2008

Balloon pilots fire up their propane tanks and inflate their hot air balloons, keeping the balloons tied to the ground.   This colorful event delights young and old.   Kids love it!   Bring your camera.  

Always looking for volunteers to help crew for the balloons.   This is a fun, social exercise and the balloon pilots really appreciate the help.   Call Jack Way or show up at Mentock Park about a ½ hour before dusk.
